Ed Cunicelli

Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, I work as a commercial and documentary photographer specializing in environmental portraits and healthcare advertising. I am forever fascinated by photography as a medium of communication.

Over the past ten years, I have been donating my time and resources to the Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health. Specifically, I have concentrated my efforts on NativeVision, a youth development initiative for reservation-based American Indian adolescents from across the country.   " It's a meaningful project for me because Native kids are the last group anyone thinks about, they are the future of a forgotten past "

 "Through my photography and ongoing series "Red Dust", I hope to stimulate awareness about Native people and more specifically, I look to make a difference in the lives of promising Native youth through ongoing photographic workshops on reservations throughut the southwest."

"As an ASMP member since 1992, I am looking forward to working with the current Philadelphia ASMP Board. This Board has the needed experience and talent to help navigate the Philadelphia ASMP membership through a constantly changing business landscape.
